Public agencies, organizations and individuals contract with TRAMUTOLA to develop specialized leadership training. Using curriculum developed from Larry Tramutola’s two books: Sidewalk Strategies, Seven Winning Steps for Candidates, Causes and Communities and Now What? A guide for local elected leaders and the people who work with them, training sessions can be modified to fit your budget, your time and needs.
TRAMUTOLA also sponsors TOLA (The Organizing and Leadership Academy). TOLA trains 16 young professionals a year who want to learn community organizing and develop their skills as leaders, providing them full scholarships to complete the program.
The Organizing & Leadership Academy provided me with the skills to organize, the confidence to lead and the know how to get things done. Being a leader means leading by example and TOLA gave me the space to hone these skills while making a difference.
